“When we decided in Autumn of 2017 to extend our house in Kerry, we were concerned at the possible difficulty of managing the development from Dublin. We looked at a number of building options and decided that a timber frame construction would suit our needs best.

We contacted Cisco Wood and spoke to Danny McElligott, who was most helpful in assisting us in the final design of the extension. The advice we received from Danny, then and throughout the build was always spot on and, in many instances, saved us money. The standard of work was excellent and they were very pleasant and accommodating to deal with. Nothing was ever a problem, even when we changed our minds about something in mid-build!

The “distance factor” was never an issue as we received almost daily phone calls from Danny discussing each step of the construction and ensuring that what they were about to do was exactly what we wanted. He also sent us regular photos showing the progress.

We received an extremely detailed quote in the beginning and this and the expected build-time were exactly adhered to. No nasty surprises! The final price was exactly as quoted. The only extras were for work which we asked him to do, which had not been included in the original spec. In fact, they even undertook a number of items that were not in the original quotation and didn’t charge for them. We cannot recommend Cisco Wood highly enough, a really top-class company.
